The sounds of the Dolomites
I SUONI DELLE DOLOMITI | the Sound of the Dolomites Festival celebrates its 30th year (1995 -2025)

I Suoni delle Dolomiti are an open-air music festival up in the Trentino mountains.
The concerts take place amid rocky crags, alpine pastures and mountain lakes in a sensitive blend of the cultural and the natural.
It aims to raise awareness among a wide audience about our mountains and their eloquent natural charms.
I Suoni delle Dolomiti are unique and irreproducible: a common journey among artists and the public in the scenic space of the High Lands, a dialogue between music and nature.
In the suspended time of dawn, and that of the efforts required to climb, notes and words are the added value to the sounds of nature.
The 2025 edition marks the 30th year of I Suoni delle Dolomiti.
Over the course of a month, 18 free events will be hosted among the mountains of Trentino, a unique natural setting where musical notes and words come together as they journey toward the peaks, just like the audience and musicians.
Thirty years are enough to have seen artists grow, who, edition after edition, have joined, returned, and chosen to celebrate new phases of their careers here. Sadly, some of these artists have left us prematurely.
Artists such as Antonella Ruggiero, Raphael Gualazzi, Uto Ughi, Niccolò Fabi, Fabio Biondi, Malika Ayane, Paolo Fresu, Goran Bregović, Vinicio Capossela, Ivano Fossati, Nicola Piovani, Fiorella Mannoia, Youssou N’Dour, Jack Savoretti, Daniele Silvestri, Stefano Bollani, Ezio Bosso, Salvatore Accardo, Mario Brunello, Roberto Vecchioni, as well as Alessandro Baricco, Gabriele Vacis, and Marco Paolini have passed through here.
