Art in small shops - Open calls for artists and shopkeepers

entertainment on the city streets

Open Trento 2021.

With the Arte in bottega (Art in small shops) project, the local municipal administration wants to bring culture back to the centre of our city, in the places of everyday life, while respecting the safety directives that the period still requires.

The project provides for the selection of artistic and cultural entertainment events aimed in particular at children, young people and families, with the aim of offering moments of entertainment in the usual meeting places, but also in unconventional urban spaces, such as commercial spaces that will be available to become the stage for performances on Friday 9, Saturday 10, Friday 16 and Saturday 17 July.

It is expected that up to 80 performances (each consisting of 3 replicas) can be organised, equally distributed over the four days.

The Culture, Tourism and Youth Policy Department is promoting a double call so as to promote light, original, innovative and unconventional artistic performances and supporting young talent:

- aimed at artists who propose short performances that will speak the different languages of art;

- and aimed at keepers of shops, restaurants, bars, cafés who wish to host performances outdoors in the stalls and gardens of their premises or indoors, in their shops, including in their shop windows.

To join the event, you need to fill in the online form on the platform www.centromusicatrento.it/arteinbottega  until 4 May.

The requirements for hosts and all project details are described in the text of the notice.
