THE PISTORI’S WATERMILL

Pistori’s watermill was a mill for grinding wheat and barley and  it was built in the nineteenth century in Cueli. In the floor above the mill there was a bread baking oven. Bread was the essential food for the population’s livelihood. The mill and the oven were run by the family Cuel, who, until the end of the 40s of the twentieth century, gave bread to the inhabitants of Cueli-Liberi and to a large part of the municipal district of Folgaria.
