Green Night in Rovereto
The town turns green for a weekend full of events
The Green Night proposes a series of events in which culture and nature are intertwined, and opens the doors of museums and cultural institutes; it also takes participants to other venues in the open air, where the party will take place.
Again this year, the Mart takes part in the Green Night of Rovereto (Notte Verde di Rovereto ).
The annual event with environmental awareness and sustainability will take place on two different evenings: Friday 26 and Saturday 27 May.
The events at the Mart are scheduled on Friday, starting at 17.00, and they will all be free. From 17.00 the workshop "My Fantastic Herbarium" at the Garden of Sculptures of the Mart, offers a modern and fantastic revision of the idea of herbarium, by experimenting a visual language inspired by Futuristic synthesis.
From 18.00, then, at Palazzo Alberti Poja (in corso Bettini 41), the focus shifts to “Me, Robotto. Automata that keep company”: the exhibition is an unprecedented journey through the history and intentions, the characters and the curiosities pertaining entertainment robotics: a collection of over 90 robots that have become part of the collective imagination.
On the same day there are several "naturalistic-sports" events, such as "Do Sport, Make Better" and "Man on a bike: a matter of power" starting at 16.00. At 17.00 "The bike: sustainability and health" (via Tartarotti 15 – Sala IPRASE) – is a talk show organised by Progetto Manifattura and Polo Meccatronica about sustainable mobility and bicycles. Moderator: Iris Corberi, director of the magazine BioEcoGeo
At 20.00, an installation will turn the sottoportico del Leone into an interactive space where tactile surfaces and fragrances mix with sensors, lights and sounds.
Not to be missed from 23.00, the "Green Poetry" at Palazzo Todeschi: from Lucrezio to Zanzotto, nature and its loss through the voices of the poets. With the participation of Nora Fuser – actress - and Fabio Rossato – accordion -.
Then, from 20.00, to cheer your eyes and lighten your hearts, don’t miss the colours and the magic of the circus (piazza Erbe and piazza Malfatti) with clowns, jugglers and tightrope walkers.
