Sculptures by Bruno Lucchi and paintings by Paolo Petrò

[ Studio d'arte Zanetti]

An original match, combining Brescia-based painter Paolo Petrò ‘s flaked-apart painting and abandoned and dusty spaces with the faint and monumental figures in bronze, steel and terracotta by sculptor Bruno Lucchi from Trentino.

This event has been conceived by Mario Zanetti with the critical contribution of art historian Gabriele Lorenzoni; produced by Zanetti Art studio, it offers a charming display in the ancient St. Barnabas Church and it features works of art which are not directly related to the religious sphere, but which release such an evocative and spiritual power that it well integrates itself into the church’s liturgical space and it leads visitors to introspection and internalization. The result of the 24 works on display in Bondo until Sunday, 1st February 2015, is an intimately reflective exhibition, which claims the concept of “periphery”, as a place where tradition lives, and where artists find space and sensitivity; this exhibition also emphasizes the ties between neighbouring territories to promote positive synergies.
