Kid Pass Days on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 May

Events at the Sas Underground Archaeological Space in Trento, Rhaetian Museum in Sanzeno, Pile Dwelling Museum in Fiavé and Archaeological Park "Archeo Natura" of Fiavé

Spreading the accessibility of child-friendly culture is the objective of "Kid Pass Days", the event dedicated to families scheduled for Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 May.

The TRIDENTVM S.A.S.S. - Spazio Archeologico Sotterraneo del Sas | Sas Underground Archaeological Space in Trento, the Museo Retico | Rhaetian Museum in Sanzeno (Val di Non), the  Museo delle Palafitte | Pile Dwelling Museum in Fiavé and the Archaeological Park "Archeo Natura" of Fiavé (managed by the Archaeological Heritage Office of the Autonomous Province of Trento - Department for Cultural Heritage) taking part in the event offer activities, offer guided tours and workshops at the weekend to get to know, while having fun and involving the whole family, interesting aspects and facts of the life of our ancestors in ancient times together with the archaeologists of the Educational Services.

"C'era una volta sulla strada romana del S.A.S." (Once upon a time on the Roman road of the S.A.S.) is the activity scheduled for Saturday 13 May at 15.30 at TRIDENTVM S.A.S.S. - Spazio Archeologico Sotterraneo del Sas / Sas Underground Archaeological Space in Trento, which includes the reading of books and illustrated books from the "Nati per leggere" bibliography and a creative workshop for children aged 3 to 6 (free participation - booking required by tel. no. 0461 230171; admission fee for adults).

On Saturday 13 May at 15.30, the Museo Retico (Rhaetian Museum) in Sanzeno, Val di Non, offers "Where are the animals?", an adventurous journey into the well of time in search of clues to discover the animals hidden among the exhibits in the museum rooms (free participation - booking required by tel. no. 3334686682, admission fee for adults).

The Museo delle Palafitte in Fiavé proposes "Dolce come il miele" ("As sweet as honey") on Saturday 13 May at 14:00, a workshop to rediscover and experiment ancient recipes and pile-dwelling flavours in collaboration with the Ceres bakery and the Agrilife farm. On Sunday 14 May at 14:00 there will be "Magie con la carta" ("Magic with paper"), a workshop to create and decorate with paper. Participation in the two workshops is free of charge. Booking required by tel no. 3351578640, admission fee for adults. Also on Sunday 14 May at 16.30 at the Archeo Natura Park, visitors can take part in the free guided tour 'A day in a pile dwelling'.

"Kid Pass Days", now in its ninth year, is a nationwide initiative involving museums, cultural venues, castles, planetariums, archaeological parks and associations, offering more than 100 events to discover the cultural, historical, artistic and scientific heritage throughout Italy.
