M4NG - Meeting of past and future
The competition aims to promote an approach to interpreting the classical music tradition in the light of contemporary sensibilities, bridging the gap between generations, between audiences and between different musical worlds.
The competition intends to propose to musical groups/bands to interpret one or more pieces, among those proposed by the call in art. 2, belonging to the classical musical tradition, through a free thematic/harmonic/rhythmic re-elaboration.
Through a selection by a technical jury, fifteen bands will perform in a live semi-final in Trentino. Five finalists will be selected and will compete artistically with a large orchestra on the stage of a theatre in Padua or Rovigo: the winner will be announced and the bands in the final will be awarded.
