Album 2020: People, places and dance

It's 150 shots that tell a 40th birthday that we imagined otherwise, but it was instead special in its own way, despite of everything. The voices of artists, audiences, operatives, workers, collaborators.

The attentive look is by Simone Cargnoni | JUMP CUT, who tells the return to live show, the sociality of culture, the secular ritual of the theater.

After months of closure due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the lucky September parenthesis hosted in fact the 40th Festival, an edition we wanted to keep track of. So this album was born, a book of photographs and emotions, testimony to this epochal moment the world is going through, characterised by a health emergency that has increasingly become an economic and social one as well.

The layout and graphic design are by Alessio Period | Designfabrik.

Album 2020 is on sale at the Libreria Arcadia in Rovereto, the Festival's partner bookshop; you can otherwise request it by writing to: festival@orienteoccidente.it
