Reopening of the Galleria Civica G. Segantini of Arco
From Saturday 26 November 2016, the docufilm "Segantini, ritorno alla natura" (“Segantini, return to nature") enriches the exhibition dedicated to Segantini

The Galleria Civica G. Segantini of Arco has reopened after a three weeks break and has presented a new space dedicated to the showing of a museum version of the docufilm Segantini, ritorno alla natura , which was created specifically for that space and for the exhibition and research project Segantini e Arco .
Produced by Apnea Film, starring Filippo Timi and directed by Francesco Fei, with Gioconda Segantini, Annie-Paule Quinsac, Franco Marrocco, Romano Turrini, the film "Segantini, ritorno alla natura" (“Segantini, return to nature") was co-authored by Roberta Bonazza, Francesco Fei and Federica Masin.
The life of painter Giovanni Segantini, starring Filippo Timi, is recreated in the places that were its backdrop and inspiration, and the film well investigates the relevance that the artist’s birthplace had on his life, above all in the artistic field. In fact, it focuses on Segantini’s approach to nature as source of artistic and spiritual inspiration.
In addition to this film showing, The Galleria Civica G. Segantini hosts permanent exhibitions and temporary exhibitions, among which a series of photographic images, photomechanical and etching reproductions of Giovanni Segantini’s works, from the collections of the Mart and from Vittore Grubicy’s and Benvenuto Benvenuti’s archives, which are preserved in the 20th-century Archive of the Mart .
