Rovereto's Mart programme presented to the press

The season will be inaugurated on 2 October with the retrospective on sculptor Alceo Dossena and will be completed, a few weeks later, with a discussion on Piero Guccione and Achille Perilli and the project dedicated to Romolo Romani.

In Botta's museum the highlights will be the long-awaited exhibition dedicated to Fortunato Depero, in autumn, and the great exhibition Canova tra innocenza e peccato (Canova between innocence and sin) which will open a week before Christmas.

Depero's work will also be the protagonist of the exhibition hosted at the Casa d'Arte Futurista - which he designed -,  Mart's second venue in Rovereto since 2009.

At the Galleria Civica in Trento, which has always been dedicated to contemporary artists, there will be a retrospective on Trentino artists Michele Parisi, Mali Wail, Veronica de Giovanelli, Pietro Weber, and a monographic exhibition dedicated to Wainer Vaccari.
Everybody's expectations and attention are high. After the summer, with over 50,000 visitors to the Mart alone, the museum is ready for another great season.
