The Thun family book collection

In 1992 the Autonomous Province of Trento acquired the book collection and the archive of the Thun Family of  the Thun Castle, kept today at the Provincial archive Office of Trento.

The library includes about 9,000 books dating back to the XV-XX centuries, including volumes and pamphlets, periodical publications, printed musical materials and manuscripts.

The collection is an important testimony to the cultural interests of the Thun family, and to the many uses of a family library.
