The ex voto painting with inscription in Ladin language

At the beginning of this new year, the loan of the ex-voto painting Madonna con Bambino, San Giovanni Battista e una casa colpita da un fulmine (Madonna with Child, St. John the Baptist and a house struck by lightning), painted by an unknown painter in 1855, was renewed for permanent exhibition at the Ladin Museum in Fassa.

For more than a decade, this work of art has been embellishing the room of the Museum dedicated to popular religiosity, thanks to the fruitful collaboration with the Tridentine Diocesan Museum, which owns the work and has made it available.
