#Violenceagainstwomen: #Trentino joins the #panchinarossa (#redbench) national project promoted by Stati generali delle Donne (which is a permanent forum, present in every region of Italy, that has put the work of women and women's enterprises at the centre of its work.)

Thanks to this initiative, started in 2014 by artist Karim Cherif in collaboration with Acmos Association and the municipality of Turin, a red bench will be installed by several institutions and organisations on their territory or in their head offices, as a national and international symbol to raise awareness of the phenomenon of men's violence against women.

Along the cycle and footpaths in Trentino managed by the Autonomous Province of Trento, some benches will be painted red or new ones installed.

Furthermore, through the Council of Local Autonomies, the initiative will be promoted so that benches will be painted red or new ones installed also in municipal parks.
