Classic con brio. The Italian holiday

The traditional Italian holiday of the 1950s and 1960s, the years of recovery and economic boom. The Library presents a selection of vintage photographs from the Historic Photographic Archive of the Department for Cultural Heritage. These are shots taken by photographers Pedrotti Brothers and Federico Vender, depicting many styles of holiday, which have become traditional by now: from the need to relax, to sports vacations, from holidays at the beach or in the mountain, to wine and food and cultural trips.

The Library also offers a selection of books to read in order to remember or imagine one's ideal holiday and offer, why not, new points of view about tradition.
