Religion Today Film Festival 2018

Religion Today Film Festival in its 21st year will take place from 4 to 11 October with 62 films in competition from 28 countries.

Not only in Trento and Rovereto, but also in Arco, Pergine Valsugana, Merano and Bolzano, the 62 films in competition, from 28 countries of the world and selected among 450 entries, are an opportunity to engage in reflection and debate on the beliefs and values of the new generations, on stories of migration and dialogue, and on the role of women in peacemaking.

Each film will be commented with authors and experts at the Teatro San Marco in via S. Bernardino, and at the Cinema Modena in Trento. The Festival is organized by the BiancoNero Association.

The Festival is a path of research and cultural contamination for young artists, filmmakers, students, and aspiring film directors, and it will offer them training and work opportunities; in fact, in collaboration with Trentino Film Commission, the Festival includes cinema and religion masterclasses and five seminars held by international experts in the field.
