The Fondo Ambiente Italiano (the National Trust of Italy) presents the FAI Autumn days 2024

In October, the great event of FAI - Fondo Ambiente Italiano | the National Trust of Italy -, dedicated to Italy's cultural heritage and landscape, is back with the exceptional opening of 700 inaccessible or little-known places in more than 360 cities (list of open places and how to participate at www.giornatefai.it  from 3 October).

The FAI Autumn Days are back on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October 2024, the much-loved and awaited event that the  FAI has dedicated to Italy's cultural heritage and landscape for the past thirteen years.

At each visit you can support FAI's mission with a donation.

During the weekend, enlivened and promoted with enthusiasm by the FAI Youth Groups, together with all the volunteers of the Trust's Territorial Network and the “Apprentice Ciceros”, special visits will be offered to hundreds of extraordinary places throughout Italy, which have been selected because they are usually inaccessible or because they are curious, original or little-known.

The public will wonder at and ejoy the richness and variety of the treasures of history, art and nature that are hidden, unexpected and amazing, in every corner of Italy.

This heritage consists not only of great monuments, but also of unknown buildings and landscapes, places that hold cultures and traditions and that we are all called to care for and protect forever and for all, as is in the FAI's mission, beginning first of all by getting to know them, in order to discover their value.

The FAI Fall Days are organized as part of the Foundation's "October of FAI" fundraising campaign, which is active throughout the whole month.
