Along the river Caino, on the orographic left of the Chiese, the Cimego municipallity had a blacksmith's forge and a mill reconstructed and reactivated, with experimental educational workshops. The calchèra for the production of lime has also been restored, as well as a charcoal pile, a snare for bird-trapping, and the old Caino mountain dairy at the top of the trail. You can also visit World War I trenches and the woodsman’s corner with its large collection of tools used to work in the woods. The trail is not difficult and lasts about 3 hours, offering the visitor a significant overview of traditional land use.
