The event, directed by Francesco Bellomo, sees the return on stage of Paolo Calissano, accompanied by Veronica Rega and the singers Martina Difonte and Matteo Ferrari.

In this difficult time for the theatre, the show “2020, 200, 20 – Racconto tra musiche e prosa di un periodo della storia d’Italia”  ("Tale with music and prose of a period in the history of Italy), written by Paolo Logli, produced and directed by Francesco Bellomo, intends to celebrate, on the one hand, the 200th anniversary of the 'Social Theatre' and, on the other, the 20th anniversary of the Premio Persefone (Persephone Prize), an event conceived and directed by Bellomo himself.

"Through an extraordinary device such as the jukebox, we will retrace together a great period in the history of our country," explains director Francesco Bellomo, "from the 1930s to the 1980s, the decade in which this instrument began to turn into a vintage object. We will thus have the opportunity to listen again to some of the songs that have most distinguished the various decades, including stories, habits and anecdotes that have characterised the history of Italy".
