Nicola Gratteri, who miraculously survived a bomb attack on him, has been living under escort since April 1989. Fewer know the mechanisms of the mafia, camorra and 'ndrangheta better than he does. Few more than him have decided to fight them by any means: even that of telling the citizens that this is not the battle of a few, but a daily bet for all of us, called day after day to choose legality.
