ArciTrio - Tres unum sunt

Music

Thanks to its particular sound, ArciTrio has long been proposed as a band for accompaniment in and with different formations (among others: Cappella Rupertina, BonportiAntiquaEnsemble, Ensemble degli Affetti), and is therefore invited by various festivals and seasons: Rovigo Musica Antica, Trento Musicantica, Rovereto Philharmonic Season, Christmas Concert in the Cathedral (Trento 2017).

This concert draws the idea from a page of the Vespers of the Blessed Virgin of Monteverdi (1610): three voices, each with its own identity, converge in unison on the words "Tres unum sunt".

Thus metaphorically the three lutes of the ArciTrio are searching for unity, homogeneity, completeness: that unicum that can be perceived when different lutes "complement each other" offering all the sound range and beauty of these particular instruments.
