The exhibition itinerary covers a wide time span from the Iron Age to the early 19th century, presenting a variety of works ranging from paintings on panel and canvas to wood, plaster, and stone sculptures, as well as prints, drawings, and extremely rare furnishings.

Among the most fascinating pieces are a sleigh and a sedan chair, both of Venetian origin, from the 18th century, which tell stories of eras when travelling depended on the physical strength of men and horses.
