Does Caravaggio's pictorial revolution hold a secret? In a conference, film director Paolo Benvenuti presents his discoveries about Caravaggio that are bound to open up unexpected scenarios. Several scholars claim that Caravaggio got to know Galilei by borrowing a device from the scientist that enabled him to revolutionise the history of painting.
Starting from the diagnostic investigation of the Burial of Saint Lucy, it is possible to go behind the scenes of the painting and ideally enter the artist's studio as he's busy with a rudimentary camera
