One hundred years or almost in the gaze of Sergio Perdomi and Luca Chistè
The exhibition Coppia stereoscopica | Stereoscopic pair, on display at the S.A.S.S. - Spazio Archeologico Sotterraneo del Sas (Sas Underground Archaeological Space) in Piazza Cesare Battisti in Trento from 10 June to 29 October 2023, compares Sergio Perdomi's urban views with the photographs taken today by Luca Chistè's careful and precise optics. Two different gazes and two different technologies for the same city dilated in time: a sui generis stereoscopy that does not capture three-dimensionality but the mutability of spaces, under the pressure of history and human needs.

On the day of the vernissage, photographer Luca Chistè and Roberta Opassi of the Provincial Historic Photographic Archive, curators of the exhibition, will propose an urban tour to discover some of the visual points captured by the photographers, by highlighting technical aspects of analogue and digital photography as well as historical and cultural aspects.
The initiative is part of the calendar of Archivissima, the Festival of Archives. 8 - 11 June 2023
