The Trentino-South Tyrol Dance Circuit organised by the Centro Servizi Culturali S. Chiara is back in Trento with an exceptional stop at the Castello del Buonconsiglio.

On Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 December (at 18.00) the splendid rooms of the castle will host choreographer Riccardo Buscarini and his travelling performance entitled "Sipario" ("Curtain").

Pensata appositamente da Riccardo Buscarini per il Festival della Città di Velluto e dedicata al borgo di Ala e alla sua storia, Sipario è un’installazione per corpo e costume. Ispirandosi alla iconografia del ritratto dall’Umanesimo alla Modernità, il coreografo, in questa occasione anche nelle vesti di danzatore, attraversa il costume creato dalla costumista Mara Leonora Pieri e trasforma il tessuto vermiglio in una serie di immagini in continua evoluzione sulle note dilatate del Concerto Grosso di Arcangelo Corelli.

Specially conceived by Riccardo Buscarini for the Velvet City Festival of Ala, and dedicated to the town and its history, Sipario is an installation for body and costume. Inspired by the iconography of portraits from Humanism to Modernity, the choreographer, and also dancer on this occasion, transfigures the costume created by costume designer Mara Leonora Pieri and transforms the vermilion fabric into a series of evolving images on the dilated notes of Arcangelo Corelli's "Concerto Grosso".
