External Lapidary of the Church of San Carlo

The church of San Carlo is a small building located in Piazza Santa Maria: there is documentation that
attests the presence of the church already during the 14th century.

Of particular interest is the Lapidarium outside the church: the eleven marble tombstones will allow you to retrace the history of Pergine over the centuries, reconstructing the fortunes of the local noble families.

Palazzo Montèl

Originally the palazzo had a single floor and was the residence of the couple Fortunato Montèl and Caterina Tecini, the same who in 1833 had founded the Montèl Company with the silk spinning mill and an adjoining shop. As a result of the bacological crisis and the silk market, the family split up, and only the last born Francesco remained there and transformed the building into an elegant mansion.

Palazzo Montèl is the seat of the prestigious "Camillo Moser" Music School.

Costs

Each visit itinerary is autonomous and the duration of the visit, for each of these venues, is about one hour.

Due to organisational reasons related to the Covid-19 emergency, and therefore to avoid crowding, all visits should be BOOKED at the FAI website www.giornatefai.it : search the opening times in Trentino and register online.

A small contribution to the Foundation and its projects is required at the time of booking.

BOOK YOUR VISIT HERE

Once you have booked your visit, just turn up at the chosen time at the FAI BANKS of our volunteers:

You do not need to bring your FAI card or the receipt of your contribution, but you will always need your face covering.

At the FAI Banks you can, of course, register with FAI or renew expired registrations.
