Fede Galizia. Recounts by the exhibition curators

On Friday 24 September at 17.30, in the Sala delle Marangonerie of the Castello del Buonconsiglio, the exhibition curators Giovanni Agosti, Jacopo Stoppa and Luciana Giacomelli will present the catalogue of the exhibition "Fede Galizia. Mirabile pittoressa" ("Fede Galizia. An Amazon of painting"), a volume published by Castello del Buonconsiglio in the Castello in Mostra series. 

A 407-page monograph with 277 illustrations, divided into 9 chapters plus a final summary that recounts the artistic life of this painter from Trento who found fame and success between the 16th and 17th centuries, at a time when it was very difficult to be a woman artist.

In addition to the curators' contributions, Agostino Allegri, Federico Maria Giani, Giovanni Renzi and Patrizio Aiello also collaborated to the volume.
