With an unexpected cultural sensitivity and refined sound, the very young Filippo Gorini last year surprised the audience of the Philharmonic. That's how the idea of his nomination as 'resident artist' was born for the next three years.

Winner in 2015 of the "Telekom-Beethoven" Competition in Bonn, in which he also received the audience prize, at the age of twenty-three Filippo Gorini is one of the most interesting talents of his generation. He has graduated from the "G. Donizetti" Conservatory in Bergamo with honors and honourable mention and perfected his studies at the "Mozarteum" in Salzburg; he continued his studies with Maria Grazia Bellocchio and Pavel Gililov, to which the precious advice of Alfred Brendel is added. His first CD with Beethoven's Variazioni Diabelli, recorded at the Beethovenhaus in Bonn, received the highest recognition from the international press. Gorini is also the recent winner of the "Una vita nella musica - Giovani" 2018 Award.
