On the occasion of the M'illumino di meno 2018 ("I'll use less light 2018") campaign, the exhibition curator proposes a guided tour with flashlight.

The exhibition “Colori fluttuanti: la carta marmorizzata tra Oriente e Occidente” ("Floating colours: the marbled paper between the East and the West"), organised by the Cultural Heritage Directorate of the Autonomous Province of Trento, aims to make known and reveal this ancient and charming art in its most curious aspects.

Through a series of works and papers it is possible to retrace the history of this technique coming from the East, which spread in Turkey and, starting from the sixteenth century, throughout Europe.

Visitors will also recognize and appreciate its different characteristics and its many uses, from its decorative use to the coverage of valuable books, to its use in the meditative dimension, and in the prediction of the future.
