Global painting

The Mart in Rovereto is the first stop for Global Painting, an international, travelling exhibition on New Chinese Painting, an artistic movement that proposes a return to painting as a privileged artistic language.

The exhibition presents a superb selection of works by artists who are not well known in the West, all of whom were born between 1980 and 1995 in a time of globalisation and constant social, economic, geographical and health changes:

Bi Jianye, Chen Xuanrong, Chi Ming, Feng Zhijia, Fu Meijun, Ge Hui, Ge Yan, Huang Qiyou, Lin Wen, Liu Yuanyuan, Meng Site, Meng Xiaoyang, Meng Yangyang, Qi Wenzhang, Qiao Xiangwei, Shen Muyang, Tang Dayao, Wang Yilong, Wu Qian, Xiong Taom, Xu Dawei, Zhai Liang, Zhang Zhaoying, Zheng Mengqiang.

Twenty-four young interpreters of a changing historical and social landscape, whose works have never before been exhibited in Italy.
