Guided tour to the Duomo of Trento

This guided tour will take visitors to discover the history (and secrets) of the the Early Christian basilica of Saint Vigilius, built outside the city walls presumably around the end of the fourth century, using sections of walls of earlier secular buildings.

Excavations carried out from 1964 to 1977 have brought to light the remains of this ancient place of worship, which hosted the remains of the Patron saint of the diocese of Trento for several centuries.
