I'll use less light - Energy saving day
On Sunday 16 February, on the occasion of M'illumino di meno, the day dedicated to energy saving and sustainable lifestyles, the Buonconsiglio Castle will turn off its lights to turn on the charm of art and history.
A guided tour together with the Castle's cultural mediators will offer the opportunity to rediscover the exhibition Omaggio alle arti. Un decennio di acquisizioni e restauri (Tribute to the arts. A decade of acquisitions and restorations ) illuminated only by the light of a flashlight, for an evocative and immersive experience.
Three turns of evening visits - at 18:30, 19:30 o 20:30 - will be the ideal opportunity to experience art slowly, without any rush, letting yourself be carried away by the details and emotions that each space and each artwork can evoke. Because it's not enough to see, you need to be able to observe. Take your flashlight with you and be guided through the rooms dedicated to the exhibition.
The Buonconsiglio Castle joins the Energy saving day campaign to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability, energy conservation and care for the environment. For the occasion, the illuminations will be turned off to enhance the authentic beauty of the place.
