In a Dream of the Blue Note 4tet

Music , Jazz concert

Michele Polga, tenor sax

Dario Carnovale, piano

Lorenzo Conte, double bass

Giancarlo Bianchetti, drums

Blue Note Records, the label founded in 1939 by Alfred Lion and Francis Wolff, two German immigrants who were its owners and artistic directors for many years, has become a symbol for all musicians and Jazz fans.

The songs contained in the numerous recordings have become the subject of study for all those who want to become Jazz players.

Boogaloo rhythms, Swing and Afro compositions have distinguished the Blue Note production of the 1960s period, and it is in that context that four experienced musicians - saxophonist Michele Polga, Dario Carnovale on piano, Lorenzo Conte on double bass and drummer Giancarlo Bianche - will once again be together in this project that will see them on stage reinterpreting some of these pieces that are now part of modern jazz.
