International Museum Day | Free admission to Trentino's provincial castles

On Saturday 18 May, on the occasion of the International Museum Day, dedicated this year to the theme "Museums for Education and Research, the Buonconsiglio Castle - Monuments and Provincial Collections joins the initiative promoted by ICOM (International council of museums) and proposes a not-to-be-missed opportunity to spend an enjoyable and productive day at the museum!

For this reason, the Buonconsiglio Castle, Thun Castle, Beseno Castle, Stenico Castle and Caldes Castle opens their doors to visitors with FREE ADMISSION from 10.00 to 18.00!

– at 14.30 ‘LET'S BE ON TOP OF THINGS!’ visit of the museum collections

– at 15.30 ‘LET'S BE ON TOP OF THINGS!’ visit to the exhibition ‘With Sword and Cross. Longobards in Civezzano ’

– at 15.30 HABSBURG GREAT BALL curated by "Circolo Tridentum" club: in the sumptuous halls of the Buonconsiglio Castle the splendor of the 1800s is back. The Habsburg Grand Ball is re-enacted for all guests and tourists visiting the castle, commemorating the visit of Emperor Franz Joseph in 1894.
