Irene Grandi

Irene Grandi has been singing since she was very young with various rock and blues bands; she has taken part in several musical contests, and started writing her first songs with Telonio, with whom she has been collaborating for a long time. For her soloist career it was crucial to meet Dado Parisini, producer of her debut album “Irene Grandi”, released in 1994. Irene has collaborated with many artists, not only with Vasco Rossi, but also with: Pino Daniele, Jovanotti, Edoardo Bennato, Luciano Pavarotti, Alex Britti, Gaetano Curreri, Morgan, Francesco Bianconi, Elio e le storie tese, Simona Bencini, Francesco Renga, Eros Ramazzotti and, in several occasions, with Stefano Bollani; at international level, with Youssou N'Dour, Patti Smith, Hector Zazou e James Reid. Last February she also took part in the 65^th edition of the Festival della Canzone Italiana di Sanremo.
