"Two years ago I began to contemplate new choreographic practices, such as the remounting of two company productions, The Show Must Go On and Gala; cast and assistants were all chosen locally.

I wanted to continue on this path and start writing dance scores for soloists that were eloquent in themselves, so that I didn't have to meet the performers directly.

And then, while I was creating the scores, the Coronavirus started to spread all over the world, very quickly.

This project then became even more urgent and necessary, just as theatres all over the world were closing, one after the other. I created a choreographic experiment with and for the dancer Laura Pante".
