Conference title: Magistrates and painters: Trentino's people in Milan during Romanticism 

On the occasion of the exhibition on Riposo durante la fuga in Egitto (Under the sky of Egypt) by Francesco Hayez , the museum proposes four special meetings, held by art historians who present fascinating themes and talk with the audience.

Today's meeting, curated by Salvatore Ferrari, will focus on the young painters from Trentino who attended the Brera Academy during the years of the Austrian domination, and who found in Francesco Hayez' paintings incomparable case studies, as well as support of learned and sensitive patrons among Trentino's officials.
