Olinda's room

Laura Dal Prà, Illeanna Ianes, Tiziana Gatti

Meetings and conferences

Scene of one of the most famous Trentino legends, the one that narrates the tormented love story between the young Olinda and the minstrel Arunte, the narrow room - traditionally indicated as the room where the girl was locked up - has recently been restored. This important operation (promoted by the museum and financed by the Val di Sole tourist board and by the Municipality of Caldes) has restored the full legibility of the wall paintings, with decorative motifs about the love theme, and was an opportunity to document the inscriptions left in the past by the frequenters of the room.
