The exhibition by Bruno Lucchi brings us to discover the relationship between the sculptures on display and the Fort delle Benne.

His sculptures are inspired by literary and poetic texts, by the soldiers' letters, by the turning of the seasons, by death as universal theme. When visiting the exhibition, we have the opportunity to ask ourselves some crucial questions about what really happened during the war, and about its consequences.

Man is the exhibition's protagonist, forced to fight brutally against other men. No enemies are mentioned, but just soldiers who march, stand guard and die, without understanding the possible causes and reasons of the conflict.

This is an exhibition in progress, bearing a strong message: men sharing the same fate oppose fraternal solidarity to violence and death.
