Recently donated to the museum by Leonardo Clementi, the painting is presented to the public for the first time.

It is an autograph replica of the well-known portrait, made in 1776 - on the occasion of the election of Pietro Vigilio Thun as prince bishop of Trento - by the famous artist from Val di Non. With his portraits, he was one of the greatest witnesses of the refined world of the European courts at the sunset of the ancien régime.
