Exhibition of etchings by the great Dutch artist in the castle of the Val di Sole

From 21 July this summer Caldes Castle , a fortress at the gates of Val di Sole, will be home to the etchings of the great Rembrandt, a master of the Dutch Golden Age of art and one of the greatest European artists of the 17th century. Around fifty etchings from the Dutch artist will be on display, along with prints by other artists, such as Antonio Tempesta, Giovanni Battista Castiglione (known as il Grechetto), Jacob Jordaens and Rubens, together representing a period of time spanning the 15th to the mid-19th century.
