Rembrandt's graphic masterpieces

An exhibition dedicated to the graphic genius of the great Dutch artist.

On display are Rembrandt's graphic masterpieces, a collection of engravings made by Rembrandt arriving from the Lazzari Turco Menz collection, donated in 1924 to the Town Hall of Trento, and kept at the Buonconsiglio Castle.

Among mmany sheets in the museum's collection regarding Rembrandt, sixteen examples are drawn from his original plates and they are all accompanied with watermarked papers that confirm teir authenticity and date, such as The Death of the Virgin or The Self-Portrait of 1633.
