Richard Dawson

Richard Dawson is an artist of the kind we would call a singer-songwriter, although his style obviously tends elsewhere. Playing the guitar in a bizarre way - he claims to be inspired by the Sufi devotional song called "qawwali" and to the English folk of yesteryear -, he earned in November 2014 the cover of the renowned monthly "The Wire" and an applause by "The Guardian" for his album released in 2017, "Peasant". His next album is expected in the fall.
