Recentemente assegnato in gestione al Centro Servizi Culturali S. Chiara da parte dell'Opera Universitaria, il Teatro Sanbàpolis è una modernissima e versatile struttura, ubicata all'interno dello studentato di San Bartolameo. Lo spazio si presta ad un utilizzo teatrale “classico”, per spettacoli, convegni e proiezioni cinematografiche, con ampio palcoscenico ed una disponibilità di 240 posti a sedere (implementabili con altre sedute, per arrivare ad un totale massimo di 380 posti), ma può essere altresì utilizzato per eventi con disposizione dei posti attorno al palcoscenico oppure è possibile una suddivisione di quest'ultimo per due distinti utilizzi (ad esempio svolgimento spettacolo o convegno nella parte frontale del palcoscenico e catering o evento collaterale nella parte finale del teatro).Oltre al teatro, sono a disposizione anche due sale prove, per piccoli convegni o sessioni parallele oppure come ulteriore spazio per catering e coffee break all'interno di un evento.
Notes on the accessibility to the site
Sanbàpolis is a barrier-free building. The indicated parking spaces are in the underground parking garage. Other 2 dedicated parking spots are located along the street. The building consists of a northern and a southern part, which include secondary entrances. The main entrance has a 25 metres long access ramp (slope: 11%). All the spaces are accessible by lift (the one indicated above, and other 2 lifts with the following dimensions: 139X109 cm – 150X139 cm) or via indoor and outdoor ramps (slopes: from 7% to 11%).
The Arena includes wheelchair accessible parterre and changing rooms, the grandstand and possible wheelchair locations on the two upper levels.
The Theatre has a tiered seating layout, but offers wheelchair accessible seating in the lower and higher part; the dressing rooms are barrier-free.
The Rock Climbing Gym can be reached from the basement.
There is a cash machine inside the building, with a height of 120 cm. Wheelchair accessible toilets can be found on each floor (except in the climbing gym) and are equipped with open-front toilet seat, hand shower, grab bar on the side of the wc opposite to the one approached, emergency call system, sink with pull-out tap, and, sometimes, roll-in showers.
