Roberto Vecchioni

Music

On this occasion, the Milanese singer-songwriter will be accompanied by his "historic band" formed by Lucio Fabbri (piano, violin, mandolin), Massimo Germini (acoustic guitar), Antonio Petruzzelli (bass) and Roberto Gualdi (drums).

The first part of the concert will be dedicated to the songs from his album "L'Infinito", followed by the main classics from Vecchioni's repertoire, in a narration that brings together music, words and images. The songs will be accompanied by videos and images that convey the "being" of the songs themselves and embrace the audience in an imaginary and refined dimension.

A poet professor, one of the fathers of the Italian songwriting, author of timeless masterpieces such as "Luci a San Siro" and "Samarcanda", Roberto Vecchioni - the only artist to have won, among others, the Premio Tenco (1983), Festivalbar (1992), the Sanremo Festival (2011) and the Mia Martini critics' Prize (2011) - will be back in Trento after five years.

One of the greatest representatives of songwriting, Roberto Vecchioni has an immense confidence with the Italian language: author, writer, lyricist, professor, poet and singer, he has undoubtedly revolutionised the last fifty years of Italian songwriting.

The event is organised by Fiabamusic in collaboration with the Centro Servizi Culturali Santa Chiara.
