Russian National Show - Gzhel

In 1988 Vladimir Zakharov founded his theatre of dance, the Russian National Show "Gzhel", which brings on stage a kaleidoscope of national dances exalting the ancient folklore of the Russian people.

The show "Eternal Russia" is an overwhelming representation of the culture, traditions and artistic craftsmanship of the Russian people.

The Company's repertoire is constantly enriched with new installations and dances, maintaining its unmistakable style, and merging new multimedia technologies with the creative ideas of its choreographers. This Ensemble is the only one in the world to combine three different choreographic styles in its repertoire: folk, ballet and music-hall.

Today the Company is considered the cultural calling card of Moscow; it regularly takes part in the official celebrations held in Red Square, in concerts at the Kremlin Congress Palace, and in the International Program "Moscow Days".

This is a unique show, able to bring on stage all the atmospheres and suggestions of the Russian choreutic tradition, for a breathtaking performance that continues to attract audiences from all over the world.
