Sentieri selvaggi was born twenty years ago, in 1997, from an idea of Carlo Boccadoro, Filippo Del Corno and Angelo Miotto with the aim of bringing contemporary music closer to the general public. The activity of the group is articulated in the organization of a musical season every year, in an intense concert activity and in the realisation of special projects.

Sentieri selvaggi is a guest of prestigious Italian music seasons, of qualified cultural events and international festivals. The group also collaborates with the most important international composers and promotes a new generation of Italian composers. Important are the productions of musical theater with installations such as The man who mistook his wife for a hat by Michael Nyman, The Sound of a Voice by Philip Glass ... involving an even wider audience.

The artistic and musical direction of the ensemble is entrusted to Carlo Boccadoro, one of the most dynamic Italian composers of our time. The soprano Cristina Zavalloni, by now an international star, is the shuttle between the music of extracurricular research, the historical and contemporary avant-garde and projects that are closer to the ways of jazz, so much so that you can find it on the stages of theaters such as La Scala in Milan as well as in the major jazz festivals in the world and in a room for chamber music such as that of Trento.
