Shining Christmas

On Sundays in November and December, the museum proposes creative workshops for families inspired by traditional art techniques:

Sunday 26 November - Shining stained glass windows

Workshop to make cardboard and tissue paper decorations inspired by medieval stained glass windows, to be applied to windows to create original transparency effects.

Sunday 3 December - Shining stars

Workshop to prepare stars to be gilded with the ancient gold leaf technique and hung on the Christmas tree.

Sunday 10 December - Shining Wishes

Workshop to create greeting cards to decorate by taking inspiration from the art of medieval miniature.

Sunday 17 December - Shining Lanterns

Workshop to prepare lanterns decorated with openwork and tissue paper, to be lit to colour the nights of Christmas Eve.
