The Bell of the Fallen and photography. Documentation and information

Paolo Aldi is the photographer who, since the mid-eighties, has documented the events that have accompanied the Campana dei Caduti (Bell of the Fallen).

He has had the opportunity to get to know and analyse the photographic heritage of the Foundation's archives and on the basis of this expertise to conceive and curate the permanent photographic exhibition that accompanies the visit to the Maria Dolens Bell throughout the Foundation.

The conference will offer the opportunity to reflect on the importance given to the photographic documentation and its preservation; as well as to the use of photographs to convey the image, the history of Maria Dolens and of the people who have worked and gathered around it.
