The polyptych of the parish church of Avio now at the Tridentine diocesan museum

The polyptych of the parish church of Avio, which was forgotten inside the church for a long time, was rediscovered in 1967, subsequently restored and finally exhibited at the Museo Diocesano Trentino (Tridentine diocesan museum).

During the meeting we will retrace the historical and artistic history of the work, examining some of the key points of the studies carried out to date: the history of its place of origin, the iconographic questions, the evidence that emerged during its restoration, and the still open debate about its author.
