Transcend and rise

Artist, actor, author, writer, comedian, surreal, sharp. There are many definitions and adjectives that surround Alessandro Bergonzoni: with his personality of non politically correct man, but always a supporter of tolerance and peace through artistic language, with irrepressible and contagious energy, he invites us to reflect on some major social issues, and to "transcend and rise" with him. 

Here is his piece of advice to be, and not just to invoke, change: we need to look at the major issues in Italy today with a clear eye.

Drawing on his a long career that has taken him to theatres, cinemas and radio stations, to national art galleries, prisons, hospital wards, schools and universities, Bergonzoni deals again with recent topical facts: the deaths of Giulio Regeni and Stefano Cucchi, African immigration and violence against women are just some of the themes that the actor has decided to tackle artistically and socially.
